21 HOA member households participated in the 2022 Annual Meeting of Members.

Members were encouraged to access this information and conduct all business on the website. Members had over 10 days to complete the online form to permit the meeting to be counted. The meeting documents and online form were as follows:

The following was discussed at the Zoom Meeting:

1. Neighborhood Watch Meeting
(The information about joining may also be found here on our website)

There will be an informal Neighborhood Watch meeting on Saturday, March 19th from 10:30am – 11:30am in front of the our neighborhood park located at the end of 229th Ave SE.  If you have any questions about the Neighborhood Watch Program contact Heidi Scholz at  heidi.scholz@gmail.com. If you are wanting to join, please send Heidi your name, address, phone number and preferred email.

2.. Electronic Payment Option for HOA Dues
(This information may also be found here on our website)

We are researching ways for members to submit their payments electronically. Our bank doesn’t support Zelle and other platforms are costly (Venmo, PayPal, etc.), but we are navigating those barriers as the desire for e-payment is high.

In the meantime, you may set up an automatic bill pay through your personal, online bank. Have your $280 sent by March 31st or your quarterly contribution of $70 by March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.

By using your banks automatic bill pay option, you will ensure your consistent support of our neighborhood’s financial wellbeing. Use the address below to set up your automatic bill pay option and make checks out to Overdale HOA.

3. Water Board Update
Our last known buyer for our water rights has decided not to continue exploring this purchase as of earlier this week. As we do not have any other potential buyers, the Water Board will soon disband. More information to come.

4. Hooking up to City Sewer
This was brought up at the meeting with both excitement and hesitancy. Many liked the idea, but wondered if it would change the zoning of our neighborhood to allow for more density. This was the first time it was mentioned to the Board in recent years. We will continue to look into the benefits and drawbacks with updates to come.

1 comment was posted though the online voting form:

We are new members but have lived here for coming up to 2 years now. It looks like there may be another board seat open. If you need another Board member, I would be interested in serving.

The meeting closed at 11:59 on March 31st, 2022. Documents could still be viewed on the website, but all voting ended at that time.
